FusionPoint IT (“FusionPoint IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a managed IT services provider headquartered in Everett, Washington, serving clients across Washington, Wyoming, Texas, and Pennsylvania. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you:
- visit fusionpointit.com or go.fusionpointit.com (together, the “Site”);
- fill out a form on the Site, such as our Free Security Assessment request;
- receive or interact with emails from us; or
- contact us about our services.
This policy does not cover data we process on behalf of our managed-services clients under a service agreement. That data is governed by the client’s agreement with us.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, request an assessment or consultation, or fill out a form, we may collect:
- your name, company name, and job title;
- your business email address and phone number;
- your company size and business location (city, state);
- what you tell us about your IT environment, priorities, or concerns.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- your IP address and approximate location (city or region);
- your browser, device type, and operating system;
- the pages you view, when you view them, and the page that referred you;
- campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, UTM parameters).
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand in aggregate how visitors find and use the Site.
Our marketing automation system, Mautic, uses cookies to recognize a returning browser. Until you submit a form or click a link in one of our emails, these visits are recorded against an anonymous visitor profile. Once you do, we can connect your earlier and later visits on the Site to your contact record.
Email engagement
Our marketing emails may include a small tracking image and tracked links. These tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Many email programs block or pre-load images, so this information is not always accurate.
Client portal
If you are a client and sign in to our client portal at portal.fusionpointit.com, we collect your sign-in credentials, the requests and tickets you submit, and usage data needed to provide portal services. The portal is provided through SuperOps, our service desk and remote management platform. Portal access is limited to authorized clients of FusionPoint IT.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of cookies. None of them are used for third-party advertising.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| mtc_id | Mautic (go.fusionpointit.com) | Identifies your browser so visits can be linked to one visitor or contact record | Marketing / analytics, persistent |
| mautic_device_id | Mautic (go.fusionpointit.com) | Recognizes the device across visits | Marketing / analytics, persistent |
| mautic_referer_id | Mautic (go.fusionpointit.com) | Records which page referred a visit to our forms and landing pages | Marketing / analytics, persistent |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions so we can measure Site usage in aggregate | Analytics, persistent |
| Security cookies (for example, __cf_bm) | Cloudflare | Protects the Site from bots and abuse; set only when needed | Essential |
| WordPress session cookies | fusionpointit.com | Keeps site administrators signed in; not set for regular visitors | Essential |
Google Analytics may send usage data to Google’s servers. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not use advertising pixels or social media trackers on the Site.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Mautic cookies stops us from linking your visits together, and the Site will still work. You can also ask us to stop tracking you (see Your Rights and Choices below).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and deliver the services you request;
- schedule and conduct IT assessments and consultations;
- send you a confirmation when you submit a form;
- understand which pages and topics interest you, so our follow-up is relevant;
- score and prioritize leads (for example, a contact who requests an assessment is followed up first);
- send IT security alerts, service updates, and occasional marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- improve the Site and our services;
- protect the Site against spam, fraud, and abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Marketing Emails
We send business-to-business marketing emails about IT and security topics. Every marketing email includes our mailing address and an unsubscribe link.
- Unsubscribing. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us. We honor requests promptly and add your address to our do-not-contact list so it isn’t added again by mistake.
- Service messages. If you unsubscribe, we may still send messages you asked for or that relate to services we provide you, such as a form confirmation, scheduling, or a security notice about your account.
- Sending domain. Our marketing and form emails come from addresses at news.fusionpointit.com and are delivered through Twilio SendGrid. Replies reach our team at fusionpointit.com.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
Our marketing system (Mautic) and our customer relationship management system run on servers we operate ourselves, not on a third-party marketing platform. We share information only as follows:

| Twilio SendGrid | Delivers our form confirmations and marketing emails | Your name, email address, and the email content |
| Cloudflare | Delivers the Site securely and protects it from attacks | IP address and technical request data |
| Google (Google Analytics) | Measures how the Site is used | Usage data collected by Google Analytics cookies |
| SuperOps | Runs our client portal and service desk | Information clients submit through the portal or support tickets |
| Our website hosting provider | Hosts the WordPress site | Technical request data and form submissions made on fusionpointit.com |
- Technology partners. When we deliver managed services, we work with partners such as Microsoft, SentinelOne, Action1, Avanan, and Datto. We share only what is needed to deliver those services.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or a government authority, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
- Business transfers. Information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
Our service providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
Data Retention
- Inquiries, form submissions, and marketing data: kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, maintain our business relationship, and keep accurate business records. We periodically review and delete data we no longer need.
- Client records: kept for the length of the service relationship and afterward as required by law or contract.
- Do-not-contact list: kept so we can keep honoring your request.
- Deletion requests: you can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your Rights and Choices).
Data Security
Information security is our business. We protect your information with access controls, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, and monitored systems that we keep patched. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information;
- stop tracking your visits and remove your browsing history from our records; or
- stop sending you marketing emails.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
State-specific rights. Depending on where you live (including Washington, Wyoming, Texas, and Pennsylvania), state privacy laws may give you additional rights. If a request is denied and your state provides an appeal, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
